Driver-The Presidents Run-2nd rescue
I had started Driver back in November 11th, 2006, played it for a few days, got to the last level, "The President's Run", then after failing it what seemed hundreds of times, gave up on it...for a while. Finally picked it up again March 14th, 2007, popped the disc in my PS, gave it about two dozen or so whirls, and by what I'd call luck, I got the President safely to an underground parking garage at the far end of the city. Right after I'd beaten Driver for my first time, I figured I'd try this final stage again, one more time, ended up beating it again, second time in a row...guess beating it the first time wasn't entirely a lucky fluke as I had thought afterall. Got through it a bit easier this time around, was spun around once, had several jarring colisions, but overall a better run than my first time, though my first run was more entertaining. This recording is of my playback of the 2nd time I ever beating this stage. I recorded it using the built-in webcam we have on our laptop, comes in far better than all the times I've recorded using my digital camera, looks like I'll be recording my game plays this way from now on. Don't know why I didn't think about the webcam earlier, but then I'm still new at some of these technologies. Oh, also I used Quick Media Converter to cut down the size of the file, converting the avi format to wmv. Enjoy! I did, both playing it and rewatching the playbacks. Just too bad that the vid doesn't come in as clearly on Youtube as it does when watching the original.
